Asterand Cosponsors Two Day Expo Focused On Diabetes and Obesity

DETROIT Asterand is a cosponsor of a major two day event that will focus on diabetes and obesity. The event will be held on September 28-29 and will take place at COBO Conference and Exhibition Center in downtown Detroit.

The organizers are Michbio, Michigan's life sciences trade association. The organizers have decided to take a novel approach with day one targeted towards the community and young people in particular. The second day September 29th will designed for professionals in the life sciences community. Major sponsors include Pfizer, the world's largest drug company who have research facilities in the state as well as Henry Ford health Systems, Michigan Economic Development Council., Wayne State University, University of Michigan, West Michigan State and others.
