CustomMapping^TM is a human gene expression service based on the combination of quantitative RT-PCR and Asterand's biorepository whereby the expression of any gene can be determined in any tissue available to Asterand.

CustomMapping^TM is Asterand's platform for exploring differential expression of targets in diseased and non-diseased human tissues. Standard RNA sets representing cohorts of tissues relevant to a range of therapeutic areas are available. Custom RNA collections can also be prepared to suit your specific gene expression profiling requirements.

CustomMapping^TM is a powerful follow-on capability to initial gene expression observations in non-diseased human tissues and provides a flexible approach for:

• comparing gene expression between non-diseased and diseased donors
• profiling expression of gene targets within or across different diseased using
• standard collections of tissues
• study-specific, custom collections of RNA
• investigating gene expression across specific anatomic sites or increased sample numbers
