What is an XpressWay™ Profile?

Quite simply, an XpresswayProfile contains gene expression data for your gene(s) of interest in the human tissue(s) you select from our collection of 72 different tissue types (see Table 1).

Each tissue type will have been obtained from three different human donors and XpressWay™ Profiles contain both the individual data points derived from each donor's tissue as well as the mean of the expression across all three donors for that tissue type. You will receive all clinical information available to Asterand relating to the tissue(s) used in the XpressWay™ Profile.

Our objective is to provide you with the information you need to answer the question you are posing. To date Asterand has profiled the expression of almost 2000 genes each across a collection of 72 different types of human tissues. All of these data are available on a gene-by-gene basis; a tissue-by-tissue basis or as a combination of the two.

XpressWay™ Profiles can contain anything from the expression of a single gene in a single tissue (obtained from three donors) to multiple genes in multiple tissues; the choice is yours.
